From check in to check out the hotel is just fab and staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. Perfect location in the middle of town and food was just fantastic. Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. Very conveniently located close to the main motorway between Dublin and Galway. Spacious rooms, great breakfast and very friendly staff. There's also a pool and great gym which we did not have time to use.
