Nice hotel, good beds, excellent breakfast, plenty of parking...it was an unexpected surprise for us--better than the other hotels we stayed at during our two week trip to UK and Ireland.

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the centre of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. The Manager Sharif had arranged an unexpected upgrade for us , when we stayed previously there were problems initially , but again the situation was swiftly resolved by Manager Sharif . Thank you Sharif , it was much appreciated by us both .

The 3-star Abbeyleix Manor Hotel offers a relaxing and ideal base to explore the hidden beauties of County Laois and the Midlands of Ireland. Excellent breakfast with happy friendly staff .The whole experience was amazing.Spacious bedrooms and lounges which were very cosy and comfortable. Location just.at the edge of Abbeyleix was very peaceful. Reception staff very heloful too and friendly.. We will certainly return..

The Heritage offers 4-star accommodation in Killenard. Set within private gardens, guests may enjoy the on-site features including a leisure centre, award-winning spa, and on-site bars and... Everything about the stay was perfect - the experience was excellent from Check-in, food service to Spa Facility we were met with the same excellent service standard, where nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs during the stay. The location is super convenient to M7 would highly recommend and I will definitely return.

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym. It was conveniently located off the main highway.

Located in Mountmellick and only 22 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Summergrove House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. I wish to share my experience, yet words seem inadequate. The place radiates healing and calming energy, creating a truly special atmosphere 💖

Offering a garden and garden view, Kearney's Cottage B&B is located in Killenard, 18 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre and 23 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. Clean, modern and a short walk to the Heritage hotel (path and street lights the whole way) Great breakfast too.

Set 31 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 34 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, Preston House features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Oh my goodness, where do I start?. This is an absolutely stunning little property that is being maintained to retain its authentic Victorian character. Our bedroom complete with ensuite, which is often not the case in older, heritage properties, was a fantastic size, furnished with period style pieces and screamed quality. No expense has been spared by the owner in terms of the quality of the bed and bedding and I really want the name of his cleaner. The place was absolutely spotless, even though there would appear to be a bit of building and maintenance work ongoing. The owner Ross, is a lovely and committed host whose only concern is that guests have a great experience. I will most definitely make a point of going back to this beautiful, luxury but very affordable accommodation.

I liked the house, the lovely rooms, the quiet of the place and the tasteful breakfast. Jamie’s very kind, he waited for us even though we arrived very late
