The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. Everything about the hotel was fab, we arrived to the genuinely welcoming smile of front receptionist Nina, an absolute pleasure to deal with, helpful informative and just lovely. The room was great, we had breakfast delivered and it was scrumptious. On leaving we met Jonathan, again a fantastic representative funny and extremely helpful. We'll be visiting again thats for sure!!

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the center of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. Amazing hotel with friendly staff. There was nothing I could say negative about the Hotel and service provided. It exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were great, comfortable and clean. Very spacious too. The pool and all of the facilities were excellent and an added bonus. The food was so so good, and the staff were kind, polite attentive, they just made us feel so welcome. I will definitely be back soon. If your in Portlaoise you have to visit the Hotel, you will not be disappointed.

The Heritage offers 4-star accommodations in Killenard. Set within private gardens, guests may enjoy the on-site features including a leisure center, award-winning spa, and on-site bars and... Everything about the stay was perfect - the experience was excellent from Check-in, food service to Spa Facility we were met with the same excellent service standard, where nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs during the stay. The location is super convenient to M7 would highly recommend and I will definitely return.

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town center and O'Moore Park. It features a 20-yard pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym. Fantastic staff! Friendly courteous and superbly efficient. Could not have asked for better service and pleasurable staff

Summergrove House offers accommodations in Mountmellick, 14 miles from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre and 22 miles from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. The breakfast was freshly prepared with local produce and served on beautiful crockery. The beautiful Georgian house is in the most tranquil setting.

Providing a garden, Kearney's Cottage B&B offers accommodations in Killenard. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. Clean, modern and a short walk to the Heritage hotel (path and street lights the whole way) Great breakfast too.

Preston House enjoys a location in Abbeyleix, 19 miles from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 21 miles from Kilkenny Railway Station. Charming old house with a lot of history. Spacious rooms and perfectly cleanliness. Comfy beds. Kitchen available to use. On our trip in Ireland this was the best value, cleanest and nicest stay of them all.
