The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. Breakfast was excellent, as was all the staff, well mannered, and so friendly, especially the man on the reception desk, (sorry I forget his name) He has a beard. He has great customer service skills. I believe this is a key element in dealing with the public. Would definitely recommend The KELLISHION HOTEL. Ann.

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the centre of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. All fine. Great location. Friendly staff. Food very good.

The 3-star Abbeyleix Manor Hotel offers a relaxing and ideal base to explore the hidden beauties of County Laois and the Midlands of Ireland. We travel with 2 toddler (2 years old and 9 months old). Very nice, and spacious room for parents with 2 toddler (2 travel cot). The bed very comfortable. The staff really helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was freshly prepared with local produce and served on beautiful crockery. The beautiful Georgian house is in the most tranquil setting.
