Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. Loved everything the room was spotless, beds were so comfortable and the pillows so soft we had a great sleep. The food was beautiful and service quick. Breakfast selfservice and excellent The rooms were off in sections and you could here a pin drop it was so quiet tg that's what I love. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way. Wonderful relaxing break away. Deffs recommend and look forward to staying again. at some point Lovely grounds to walk around also.

Parking was really easy in public lot just behind the hotel. Location was central and appealing. Room was lovely; modern and clean and quiet (no concert that night). Breakfast in the cafe across the court was bountiful.

I'm always delighted to stay in the Lord Bagenal. The staff are so lovely and the facilities and food are excellent. The setting is perfect for a very pleasant stay.
