Breakfast buffet excellent, views beautiful, the overall experience wonderful - a very pleasant rather luxurious stay in a rather remote village.

Located in Nuuk, Hotel SØMA Nuuk offers a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Large comfortable room. ,Great onsite reasonably priced restaurant with great daily specials and a much appreciated included breakfast with cereals, breads, juices, etc.. Practically next door to the ferry and winter departure site of the water taxi tours and a reasonable walk to the mall/downtown. Very friendly staff who let me check in when the room was ready and answered my questions.

Located on the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord in western Greenland is this 4-star hotel. It provides fine dining and a free shuttle service from Ilulissat Airport, 5 minutes’ drive away. We had a corner jr. suite with a fantastic view of the icebergs in the bay. The sun deck outside from the restaurant was wonderful with rocking chairs and magnificent views (just like our room).

The hotel is located directly on the water, overlooking the bay. The weather creates a new scenery almost every day, which can be admired from the room as well as from the restaurant. The restaurant is top class: the dinner is of high quality and excellent in every way, the service friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. The deluxe rooms were newly renovated and attractively furnished. And indeed, through the skylight, the northern lights could be seen for once - directly from the bed, it could hardly be more comfortable. Remarkable is the support and helpfulness of the hotel after my connecting flight in Kangerlussuaq was cancelled and I arrived at the hotel about two days later than originally agreed.
