Situated in Shrewsbury, 15 km from Ironbridge Gorge, Riverside Inn by Chef & Brewer Collection features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. My partner and I stayed at the Riverside Inn the night before my brother's wedding at a venue nearby. The room was gorgeous and cosy, with lovely views of the river. What really made the stay even more special was how helpful the staff are. The morning of the wedding was full of mishaps, from not being able to get a taxi to my partner locking himself out of the room just before he had to leave for the ceremony! The Riverside Inn staff took it all in their stride and were so kind and helpful. Special thanks to David, who organised a locksmith and then drove my partner's things to the venue once he'd managed to get into the room! I cannot recommend them enough and would love to stay again some day.

The Down Inn is located in the countryside just 5 minutes from Bridgnorth. The hotel features a restaurant and bar, and offers free on-site parking. The bedrooms offer a work desk, TV and radio. Incredibly supportive and amiable proprietors! We were commuting after attending a world championship and arrived at the accommodation around 3:30 AM. Despite the inconvenience, the owners efficiently coordinated all arrangements to ensure a smooth check-in process for us. Additionally, they were considerate of our allergies during breakfast the next morning, making our stay even more comfortable.
