And meeting with other people, other guests... thanks to the so easy atmosphere, naturally generated by Shaley and Peter, the incredibly nice owners of the Lochaline Hotel. So yes, it can only be a personal feeling, but my advise is: Do not hesitate... Just go.

The front desk went out of they way to ensure a good stay. We requested a room change due to some noise as we had conference calls at odd hours with various countries. They changed our room to the best suitable room to accommodate no noise, including moving our luggage to the other room. Extremely friendly and help full staff.

Really enjoyed my short stay at the Clachaig, especially thanks to the super friendly and welcoming staff in both reception and the boots bar! A wonderful atmosphere for socializing and meeting other travelers over a drink downstairs. The bar selection is impressive! My single occupant room was small but had everything I needed, and the views from the window of the mountains were spectacular.
