Situated right by the shores of Lake Inari, Wilderness Hotel Inari & Igloos provides accommodation and activities. The hotel is just beautiful. located on the lake Inari and surrounded by natire. You can walk on the lake if it’s frozen and at night you can see the auroras. The staff are very nice, approachable and happy to help with whatever they can to make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel is about half an hour walk from the village Inari and it’s very easy and safe to walk there. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel if you are going to Rovaniemi. The rooms are super clean and cozy like a perfect wilderness cottage. I loved it.

We also thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant, which had a very nice children’s menu as well. The stay was completed by the delightful receptionist Max, and his colleagues, who could not have been more helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was great, but the breakfast buffet should last a little longer since the apartments are pretty far away.

We had dinner in the lobby 2 nights as all the sandwiches were around 10€. restaurant upstairs was 19-38€ per main. breakfast was included and beautiful. peaceful looking out the snow covered trees. there isn’t a thing we would have changed. we have traveled all over the world in luxury and this hotel we would return to in a heart beat! We booked a year in advanced. didn’t rent a car, used taxis and tour shuttles and was super easy!
