Located in Frontera, Hotel Puntagrande is set on a tongue of lava rocks, surrounded by the ocean with a spectacular view from all the rooms and from the panoramic terrace. Wonderfully located and lovely owners and staff! Still miss their breakfast ;-)

My goodness where would you start with this hotel - you don't have ratings high enough - absolutely everything was beyond exceptional. From the moment you step in you are met with the loveliest welcome we have ever had anywhere, Gustavo & Soraya really do treat you as personal guest, what a lovely couple. The rooms are stunning, beautifully furnished, lots of lovely touches. Breakfast was excellent, presented beautifully, freshly prepared and a very welcoming experience. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough - we were made so very welcome that we both felt emotional when we had to leave. If you are travelling in this area then a stay in Hotel Lua is a must. I wish them every success in the future.

Hotel Boomerang is located in Valverde, the capital of the small Canary Island of El Hierro. It offers a 24-hour reception and rooms with free Wi-Fi and a TV. We liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the balcony from our bedroom and the peace and quiet.

Set between the mountain and the sea at Roque de Bonanza, this secluded hotel looks out over the Atlantic Ocean from its setting on the tiny, tropical island of El Hierro. Absolutely amazing spot :) right on the beach with mountain backdrop. Spacious rooms with lovely big luxurious bathrooms and comfy beds, like a 5 star hotel in London for a fraction of the price :)

Casa La Asomada El Hierro se află în Las Casas, la 35 km de Playa del Verodal, și pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit, o grădină, room-service și o recepție deschisă nonstop. Super place, very clean and spacious. Kitchen facilities were good and beds were really comfy. Great communication with host via WhatsApp. There were several useful items there too in the kitchen: coffee, tea, chocolate powder, oil and condiments, as well as soaps and shower gels in the bathroom. Good WiFi (there's 2 codes, downstairs/upstairs. There's a well stocked supermarket and bar less than 10 minutes walk away. There are lovely walks around the village from the digs and into the forest. The bus service is very good (we didn't need a car). We particularly liked taking the bus to Restinga for a swim and ice-cream.
