Location: right off the public ferry dock. Near small stores, pharmacy etc. It’s Egypt don’t expect an immaculate and all new building for this bargain price.

Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Rose Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything about the Pharaonic Rose was perfect. I spent some of the happiest days of my life in Luxor thanks in no small part to the Pharaonic Rose. They have a rooftop with a view of the cliffs and Medinet Habu. The seating area downstairs is shady and in an oasis of a garden. It's very close to Medinet Habu, but far enough away that it is very quiet. It was so nice to have a quiet and peaceful place to return to after the bustle of the tourist areas. The food was amazing. They would just pile heaps of delicious food in front of you. The breakfast was the best I had in Egypt and they can prepare lunch and dinner for you as well. They also organized very affordable transportation for reaching different sites in the area. The family that runs the Pharaonic Rose is extremely kind and welcoming. By the end of the stay I felt like part of the family and the Pharaonic Rose felt like home. To get all that for such a reasonable price is unbelievable! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. If you are going to Luxor, stay here.

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm and attentive. the food was absolutely delicious and all prepared at home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the space was in a rural area amongst cabbage farms and green fields. They have a nice terrace with sweeping views of the fields, mountains behind the Valley of the Kings and around the corner of the Habu temple and very close to the Colossus of Menon.
