A very special and unique place. The bungalows and patio are lovely. Mustafa is very helpful and may organise guides for hiking tours and Marisa surely is one of the best cooks of the island. We spent a wonderful time and had a lot of fun with a group of portugese people staying there at the same time. Don´t miss watching the stars at night time! Hint: believe Mustafa if he tells you that bungalow #10 has 40°C even at night!

It’s in a great location, we had an amazing view of the whole city from our room which was very spacious with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, they gave us all important information, we had our dirty laundry washed, breakfast was good, and we would definitely come and stay here again!

The staff especially the owner Toni were so helpful in arranging transfers and organising our stay. The room was very nice and the swimming pool was great. The evening we stayed there coincided with an amazing event celebrating Women of Cape Verde with a banquet, disco and excellent live musicians. Toni helped us plan our walking tour to Alcatraz and Faja which was excellent. The hotel's location is good if you are planning hikes in the area (which is cooler than most of the island) such as around Estancia Roque and along the coast. The paths are well marked. Finally Toni made sure we got back to Sao Filipe ok when the normal aluguers werent't running as it was a holiday. I wish them all the lu ck in the world in making the hotel a success.

Excellent in every way, the staff was wonderful, always happy helpful and extremely kind. The facilities are very comfortable and clean.
