Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Location close to center, restaurants, bars, shops etc. Private parking in the yard and plenty of spaces. Very friendly staff at the reception and also breakfast ( which was delicious ) in the morning. Clean and big room. The cherry on top was the access to their other hotel's facilities ( 7 km away ), but definitely worth it.

You could have fresh eggs for breakfast. We saw toucans there. There were peacocks and chickens which were really lovely. Very relaxed and a great soda opposite

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Amazing bungalow with volcano views. Staff were wonderful and the restaurant and food was great, especially the breakfast. The wildlife was fabulous - a real feeling of being close to the forest and having it's own private trail was a bonus. We will visit again.

Absolutely great for a night before/after a flight. Property was pretty and everything extremely clean. Staff and owner were nice and helpful (printing boarding pass etc). A nice little pool area. Breakfast was very good. Room was big, clean, comfortable and with nice indoor and outdoor rainforest shower. Had a fridge. Silent airconditioning. All perfect.

Situated in Fortuna, 22 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Sangregado Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and we had a beautiful view of the volcano. The proximity to the hanging bridges was also great and having 2 breakfast restaurant options was also a nice bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Noah’s forest was our favourite accommodation during our trip to Costa Rica. the bungalow was stunning and the grounds are gorgeous. it was so nice to be close to La fortuna but away from the hustle and bustle.

The property is 10 km from Zoo Ave. We decided to stay overnight in San Jose before our flight home. Thus place exceeded our expectations. Everything was just perfect! The view is breathtaking, the room is super cozy and clean. The bathroom was superb. The hosts were super friendly and attentive to details. So happy with our stay.

Alajuela is a typical Costa Rican city
The city is like most cities in Costa Rica: not so well organized, full of life, colors, noice. There is not so much to see, except for the Zoo (Zoo Ave). It is a bit out of town but very good indeed! It is built into the forest, has lots of interesting animals in it. It is quite hard to find restaurants in Alajuela. You can easily find fast food but if you want something else, you need to use a bit time to find a place.

If you have to sleep after or later your flight to San Juan Airport, DON'T GO SAN JOSE (ugly place) -> go to Alajuela!
