Hotel Las Islas has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Baru. Amazing concept with the inidvidual tree houses. It was SUCH a great experience. Ideal for a romantic getaway, if you're not too shy to climb a few stairs.

Really friendly staff and very accommodating when it comes to question (initially planned for a leave at 11am but were allowed to keep our suitcases in the room including the key until our departure at 1:30pm). We really like the Cristal Hamburguesa. Overall a quite placemat the end of Playa Blanca (its located in the north, the more south you go the more touristy it gets). Beautiful sunsets.

Posada donde Uriel Playa tranquila er staðsett í Baru, nokkrum skrefum frá Playa Blanca. We stayed two nights at Uriel's newly constructed pool villa "Casa Cafur" in the nearby town in Santa Ana, and spent the days at his Playa Tranquila beach house (quiet part of playa Blanca) Strong winds damaged most of the beach earlier that week so we were unable to spend the night as planned but Uriel saved our vacation with his pool villa, then we got to spend the days anyway at Playa Blanca so it was the best of both worlds. The beach is a quick 6000 peso ride from the villa. Let me tell you, when you enter Casa Cafur you realize you are entering somewhere special. You get that "wow" feeling once you enter the doors. It's a peaceful paradise, and feels totally private. He keeps the pool clean, and the cocktails are delicious! His staff are totally cool and they take care of everything like the richest resort. I proposed to my girlfriend at his beach house (posada donde Uriel) and when we returned to Casa Cafur, Uriel cooked us lobster and shrimp, champagne and we had the whole place to ourselves. Music, hammocks, cocktails and a clean pool. The village of Santa Ana is cool too, we drank and danced with the locals and sharwd way too many dollar beers. I trust Uriel and will always come back! Thank you Uriel for a special 3 days.

Set in Playa Blanca, Hotel Calamari Baru offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Playa Blanca and offers various facilities, such as a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Very impresed with the room and bathdroom sizes, the food was another level, congrats 👌

SABAI Beach features 200 metres of private white sand beach and free WiFi access in public areas. It is located in Barú Peninsula (an island), 20 minutes’ drive from Barbacoas Bay. This is such a wonderful hotel with amazing welcoming and helpful staff and wonderful food. It is such a stunning part of the world and Sabai absolutely showcases the splendors of the beach and jungle. Everything we needed we got, including a trip to the National Aviary which was magnificent. Everyone at Sabai was fantastic, helpful, bright and warm, and the property was just beautiful. The food was especially excellent.
