JW Marriott always meets your expectation. I was visiting the hotel during the Valentines Day and made a special request to decorate the room. They made it very special for my wife. Had Balloons, Towel Swan, Rose and Rose Petals. The hotel also has robots to deliver water bottles and anything you might need. So I would say, just pick up the phone and order few water bottles, a cool thing to experience. The rooms were also spacious and everything in the room was modern and on point. Good view of the river also.

The place is super well located, right across the metro station which is close to Jiang Temple (one station away)! Very nice common area with great view from the 18th floor ))

Also my room was facing the street, but I could never hear a peep. Slept like a baby. Staff was nice enough. Hotel manager enquired about how my stay was, In outmost kind manner. Totally recommended. I would be back, absolutely.

metro routes are easily understandable, very easy and cheap. the best way to go anywhere in shanghai without traffic. but since we're moslem, it's kinda hard to find halal restaurant there (everywhere in china, i guess). I really want to ride the city sightseeing bus to go around shanghai, but unfortunately we have no time. buy souvenirs at Yuyuan garden, but don't forget to bargain and find the cheapest shop ! have fun !

It's not easy to travel in Shanghai. Make sure you have someone who can speak mandarin, if not then you will have so much trouble. Most of them cant speak english, so prepare first before go there. MRT was great and easy to use. Taxi was expensive. China's street food is the best :)

first time i came to shanghai was so lovely place for vacation,i love the bund, yuan garden .pearl towers and surround there . only the bad thing is no taxi driver can speak english and mostly peoples are seldom speak english. 20 x i try stop taxi and they dont wanna take me to my destination. but these part of the journey and i love it being in shanghai.

shanghai offers you many things. Shanghai Disneyland is great and clean. You have to go up to the observatory deck of shanghai tower, its worth to pay. go to Tian Zi Fang to find unique stuff and yummy food too! Nanjing road is simply the best pedestrian walk with many stores and restaurant. much better than Wangfujing in Beijing.
