It is situated in the Hi-Tec quarter, 15 minutes by taxi southwest from the Wall. It has a nice bar and cafe downstairs. The breakfast has a wide variety of food, every day changing. The room is super clean and comfortable with complementary water, coffee, tea and a coke per day.

Attractively set in Xi'an, Joke Inn features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. One of the best stay in China. The location was excellent (right next to the South Gate, and a walk away from the Muslim quarter) and the room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were helpful and very attentive to their customers’ needs. The Manager spoke perfect English and made sure I had everything I needed. Hands down, one of the best places I’ve stayed so far. Highly suggested.

Xi'an è una città piacevole, a "taglia umana"...
Xi'an è una città piacevole, a "taglia umana" rispetto alle grande metropoli come Pechino o Shanghai. Peccato che i siti turistici (Museo di storia dello Shaanxi, Esercito di Terra cotta, quartiere musulmano) siano sempre più presi d'assalto dai turisti. E' ormai quasi impossibile visitare il museo di storia (gratuito). Due ore di coda non sono più sufficienti per assicurarsi l'ingresso. Da fare assolutamente : giro in bicicletta lungo le mura della città vecchia, passeggiata serale attorno al parco della pagoda della Grande Oca selvatica. In estate, prepararsi pscicologicamente ai 37 gradi con 70/80% di umidità, una bella prova fisica per chi non è abituato a queste temperature.
