The place is located in a little island far from the city which is great! Amazing view from the room to a beautiful river. Terrace to watch sunsets with a glass of wine. Very nice breakfast and conversations with hospitable hosts.

Illi Lodge & Hostel is situated in Ranco and has a garden and a terrace. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Illi lodge was a great base for exploring around Lago Ranco, including the Futangue reserve. It was easy to get to the reserve and the lakeside beaches from the lodge by car, although they’re close enough that cycling would also be an option. The lodge staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to provide information and suggestions about local activities, including arranging kayaking on the lake for us. At the time of our visit they were also able to offer evening meals which were nicely prepared using local ingredients. The lodge itself is modern and clean and comfortable with something of a log cabin style in the public areas.
