Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Baseltor Hotel & Restaurant is located in Solothurn. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. Completely new renovation in very old building. Quiet at night and no church bells ringing every hour. Never heard a churchbell even thought it is next to the old church. Bathroom was also very clean with L'Occitaine body wash and shampoo - a nice luxurious touch! The breakfast was very good, plentiful with lots of choices. The dinner also excellent with high-quality ingredients. Would definately stay here again. Hotel and restaurant staff very polite and accommodating to our needs in the rooms and the restaurant. I can highly recommended this hotel.

Hotell Astoria asub Olteni kesklinnas, Olteni raudteejaamast 650 meetri kaugusel. I used Olten as a base for two days of train excursions. This hotel is very near to the old part of town and the wooden bridge over the Aare River. It was a fifteen minute walk to the railway station. It was a forty minute train ride to Zürich/Zürich Airport, and in the other direction, a similar time to Bern. The room offered had plenty of room, was very clean and had all facilities that I required. Wifi was very good. The breakfast was of continental style, with lots of variety. All staff members encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would use this hotel again.

It’s spacious, clean, comfortable and so close to the train station. It’s amazing that even if nezt to the train station, once you close the windows there is no noise 🤩🤩🤩 olten is also like a fairy tale place. We accidentally reach this place and it’s a gem!
