The staff was fantastic - so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, location was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. We loved being close to the mountain and to town. The price was so reasonable for Switzerland and we would definitely return!

GRAND your home with common kitchens with self check-in is centrally located in Engelberg, next to the village´s train station and 1969 feet from both Titlis Rotair Cable Car and Gerschnialp -... Everything, the room was great with an insane view of the mountains to wake up to. The common kitchens was an extremely useful addition, fully equiped, wonderful to cook even the most complex meals. Private refrigerated and nonrefrigerated storage spaces for each room. The manager Aleksandar was supernice and attentive, helped us with all the information and was lovely to meet him :)

On the sunny plateau of Melchsee-Frutt in the Swiss Alps, 6.3 feet above sea level, this hotel features a spa and an open-air lounge with mountain views. Stöckalp SMF Ski Elevator is 492 feet away. This is probably the most beautiful place in Switzerland we’ve been to. Very nice rooms with amazing views (even the mountain view), excellent breakfast, very kind personnel always helpful, many options for eating, all very good (especially the Titschli), lovely bar lounge with a wonderful pianoman singing in the evenings (thank you G D Angelo for the enchanting after dinner music), fabulous spa and very good kids spa too (enjoyable by parents as well), not to mention the incredible scenery surrounding the place, and really good ski school. Just an amazing place thank you all!

The Hotel Waldegg - Adults only enjoys an elevated south-facing position in Engelberg. It offers panoramic mountain views, a spa area with an indoor pool, and a restaurant. From the reception, the the cleaning staff to the restaurant staff - they were absolutely fabulous! Although this is not a new hotel, it is solid with beautiful facilities that are well-maintained. The spa-area was quiet with an outside jacuzzi with views of the mountains. We could call the hotel at any time to fetch us from the town center. The restaurant on site offered to make us dinner that were not on the (Thai) menu. I hugged the girl that took us back to the station - that's how nice they are!

The traditional Family-Hostel SPANNORT with common kitchen and self check-in is located right in the center of Engelberg, close to the train station. Amazing value for this stay. We went there with my in-laws, it was very nice to have the option to cook at their facilities the days when we didn’t feel like going out. The staff is super friendly, it’s very well located next to the bus station that takes you to the ski lift. The rooms are pretty cute, a little on the small side but it didn’t bother me at all. I saw some people complained about noise, you can hear what’s going on on the hallway on occasion but it’s pretty well insulated from room to room, so it also didn’t bother us. We would stay there again for sure when we go back!

Hotel Central is located next to the Engelberg Main Train Station with connections to Lucerne, Dallenwil or Stans. WiFi access as well as private parking are offered for free at the hotel. Rooms were spacious and offered facilities and services were creditable towards hotel authorities as well as staffs. Scenic view from the room was awesome. Breakfast arrangements and available varieties were once again splendid. Quality was too good. The hotel position was just beside the railway station, so the hotel is at the prime location.
