Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... This is a family run motel with very friendly and informative owners. It looks like you are pulling into someone's home, but the motel is hidden behind. The room was large and lovely with a full kitchen, and even had a jacuzzi. The beds were super comfortable. The town of Hokatika is a seaside gem with beach walks and colorful rocks. The town is small enough to walk about, but large enough to have all the services available and interesting shops.

Situated in Westport, Sunset Accommodation has a garden, BBQ facilities and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property features free airport shuttle service. What a wee gem this was to stay in, it was immaculately clean, had everything we needed, very comfy bed and a brilliant shower, close to town and quiet. The host is just lovely. We couldn’t rate this high enough.

Friendly welcome on arrival and a very comfortable bed. The room and kitchen was well equipped and was clean and well maintained. They even provided ground coffee and a cafetiere, so you could make proper fresh coffee. They also had Hot Chocolate and a selection of teas available plus fresh milk. We'd highly recommend this Motel.
