We got to the Super 8 after several days of travelling, including a missed connection in Germany that had us getting to Juneau a day late. The Super 8 staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful. When we called and explained our situation, they arranged for us to rebook our room for a day later. The room itself was excellent. Clean and large, and our two kids loved the stuff bear in the lobby. Special thanks to Angel and Mary at the front desk for all their help. One quick thing to add: most hotels in Juneau have a shuttle, but not all of them will take you out to the ferry terminal at Auke Bay. The Super 8 will, so that's another reason I usually stay there when travelling through Juneau.

First, they had a free shuttle from the airport really late at night (23:30). also when we went away, we got a free shuttle to the AHMS ferry at 5AM. it was so great! the location is so great in downtown, close to the museum. Really friendly stuff. the view from the room was incredible. great way to start our trip in Alaska.
