Staying at Julianne’s and Richard’s place was just perfect. They are so kind and have great advice for activities in the area. The accomodation is well equipped and beautiful, the view above the landscape and ocean is just stunning - and you can enjoy sunsets in the hot tub. I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

Located in Opua in the Northland region and Opua Forest reachable within 5.9 km, Marina Cove Bay of Islands provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. The views were sensational and the apartment was fabulous! We were extremely lucky to get fresh baked bread the first morning and the second morning we got home made crossaints. Both mornings we had fresh fruit, yoghurt and condiments. Such an awesome place to end our Honeymoon and 3.5 week trip around New Zealand.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thanks to our great hosts Fiona and Ann, we learned a lot about live in that area, had a guided tour to meet Tana Mahuta and his siblings and also found the way to Aranga beach, not to forget wonderful breakfasts and excellent dinner. Situated in a 100-year-old building, guests staying at this lodge can relax in the hot tub and then prepare a meal using the barbecue facilities provided. The breakfast was a good price, tasty and plentiful. The view was beautiful and the hosts friendly and helpful. It was quiet, clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Fabulous staff, incredible views!!! Just perfection there at “the top of the world” and then throw in golf….life does not get better!

Surrounded by native landscapes, Bay of Islands Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and great views over the Bay of Islands. Guests have access to a large terrace with a heated plunge pool. The views are beautiful and the hosts are amazing. Glennis and Dave made us feel so welcome and helped us re-arrange our plans when they were a bit overly ambitious. The breakfasts were delicious and the place is nicely decorated, comfortable and just fantastic. We felt like family the second we drove down the driveway and were greeted as we pulled up. A truly wonderful stay.
