Ubytovanie Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge sa nachádza 23 km od miesta The Rock art of Alta. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii reštauráciu, terasu, bar a priamy prístup k vchodu na lyžiach. Fantastic location and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of aurora borealis. We stayed in a lodge; this was a good size, really comfortable and it was nice to put a log fire on. Breakfast and meals were served in the main building... slippers provided. Staff were helpful and friendly, doing some extra 'gritting' on the path to make it easier to get luggage to the lodge.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. Holmen Husky was the highlight of our month long trip. From sleeping in lavu to the food to the wonderful dogs that wait for you to walk past and rub their tummies. The staff are exceptional with a special shout out to Tess who fit us in for the amazing husky sledding and Wico for his amazing food. I cannot recommend this place enough. We even watched the Aurora from our bed! A great place for kids too....

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

Very nice view to the sea and village. There were also many animals, what was nice to watch, example sheeps, reindeer, fox. The cabin was nice and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Roar saved us at very short notice because the road was closed and we were not able to get back to Alta. His lodge was so nice and cosy.
