Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. Holmen Husky was the highlight of our month long trip. From sleeping in lavu to the food to the wonderful dogs that wait for you to walk past and rub their tummies. The staff are exceptional with a special shout out to Tess who fit us in for the amazing husky sledding and Wico for his amazing food. I cannot recommend this place enough. We even watched the Aurora from our bed! A great place for kids too....

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. We loved everything about our stay at Trasti & Trine. Such an authentic and lovely experience!

Aera - Glass cabins features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Tromsø, 25 km from The Arctic Cathedral. cozy small nicely furnished cabin with a beautiful view. We really liked the concept of choosing a breakfast variation which they bring directly to your cabin. We recommend booking a car early enough in advance since the accommodation is 40 min away from the city centre/ airport and cars are not easy to get spontaneously. 3 of 4 nights northern lights were easily so see. Everyone was super friendly- we would definitely come back.

Segla Guesthouse - Lovely sea view has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Fjordgård. The lodge offers a terrace. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was clean and we took advantage of their kitchen and board games. They even invited us to have dinner with them in their barbecue hut. I cannot recommend this place enough! This was by far the best place we stayed at throughout our trip in Norway.

Featuring mountain views, North Experience Basecamp in Melen features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Hotel was great with communication! Made us feel right at home. We forgot an item and they were very helpful with coordinating the return. We had an amazing view of the northern lights right from bed. Was an amazing experience.
