If you’re looking for a peaceful and very relaxing experience I can’t recommend San Simian enough. Fantastic rooms, gardens, service and of course Laguna de Apoyo is a dream. Daniel the barman was right San Simian is Muy tranquilo!

This impressive property is located on a hilltop just outside the Masaya Volcano National Park. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and stylish rooms, all with amazing views. My partner and I was able to have the whole resort to ourselves. We came during an off season and was pure lucky. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite and absolutely loved it. The pool steps was right at the entrance of our room. The food was really good and the atmosphere and views were amazing. We also took a couple tours; Catarina and Granada., and opted for the massages. Leaving the resort is definitely worth the trip to experience the culture. The staff also took fantastic care of us and the owner is more then helpful and very communicative. We highly recommend staying here.
