Spacious, clean & comfortable house. Large well stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The view was of both mountains & water. Location is great. Easy to walk both to Kaikoura & South Bay & other tracks. Our host was very responsive & kind. Should we ever find ourselves in Kaikoura again, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing food (the dinner is 100% worth it!), super friendly staff, beautiful views with deer right outside, comfortable bed, amazing amenities. Honestly one of the best hotels/lodges I have stayed at.

Fantastic accommodation with wonderful attention to detail, and great facilities such as a large spa bath, gas fireplace. Breakfast and dinner were included, and these were excellent. Great views back towards the kaikoura range, and a 15 minute walk will get you down to the beach for more fabulous views. The Lodge arranged whale watching for us, and were very helpful in answering any queries we had. Would definitely stay again.
