My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

First of all I don't understand why some guests „criticize” the road here. You are in a jungle and consideration and respect should be given to animals, nature and people. We loved everything… The area, the bungalow and the really good breakfast (I highly recommend the french pancakes). Waking up to the different animal sounds was impressive. The staff was super friendly and every time very helpful. The rooms were also absolutely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view to the jungle. This place is a paradise - Please keep it like that! :) Thank so much for this beautiful experience. We’ll definitely come back (hopefully next year). PURA VIDA 🦥☀️

If you love nature and want to feel next to it then this is your place. It’s beautiful. Owners are lovely and helpful and leave you to get on with your stay or are there if you need them.

Really beautiful bungalow and surroundings, nice pool, everything kept meticulously clean, great location (quiet but in 10 - 15 min by foot there are supermarktes and restaurants on the main road where you can flag down a tuktuk which are passing by all day), agoutis in the garden ... and Marianna was a great host!

After 3 weeks travelling in Costa Rica: This Finca was the most amazing place. Emilio is so kind, relaxed, he has this gift of beeing giving you his full attention if you need it, and lets you alone if this is what you want. We stayed there for 5 nights, and would have liked to stay there for 5 month. The tour with the gardener was i highlight, he speaks only spanish, but shows you all the animals you tried to find in the National parks, like sloth, Tucans, Ara etc. The open kitchen was used every morning for breakfast, all the tools you need. Big fridge. The open windows (with protection net) in the bedroom gave every morning a waking up with a concert of birds singing. The tropical garden around the finca is breathtaking, you feel like living in the midle of a jungle. Once in your life you have to stay in this place. It sounds pathetic, but it is true. The perfect place if you search some days (weeks?;-)) in the midle of the tropical jungle, not far from the next (2-3) supermarkets, walking distance froim the beach, "bicycle-distance" from Punta Uva and Puerto Vjejo etc. The rooms are extremely clean, not a bug, nor a mosquito, almost incredible how they treat you as a guest. Everybody was super friendly and very helpful (even when I almost lost my driving licens). Can I recommend this place? When writing this review back in (cold) Norway: staying at Emilios places feels like beeing in the tropical heaven on earth. Highly recommended!! 11 pionts.

Very cosy cottage in a really beautiful garden where I was able to spot many birds (including humming-birds) and lizards. Very good location, 3-5 min from the city center and the beach. Very friendly owner.
