Given the location, the Barrel can get very busy, but the peace and beauty to wake up in such a location is unbeatable!

The Plough Inn in Hathersage je hostinec ze 16. století v Derbyshire, asi 12 mil od Sheffieldu, v srdci Peak District. Má útulný bar a restauraci a nabízí bezplatné parkování a Wi-Fi. This hotel was excellent! It's quite expensive, but I stayed here for a backpacking trip around the peak district. The staff was accommodating to what I was here for, they were very excited for me and took great care of everything. The room is as you would expect, the bed was acceptable, pillows are always questionable in hotels, and the bathroom was excellent. I can't justify fully the cost that it was, but in the area, this was the best option due to the price and the fact that the hiking trail started just in front of the pub. Their food was excellent as well, I had lunch after I finished and the staff was as helpful and even asked me how the hike and camping went. If I have hiking trails in the vicinity again I'd stay here for sure.
