We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

Located just 5 miles from Oban, right on the lake shores and on Loch Etive, Lochnell Arms Hotel features a restaurant overlooking the famous Falls of Lora. the view from the bedroom and dining room. Service was great and the cooked Scottish breakfast was fantastic!

The main hotel building is now under new ownership (previous owner holding onto Beach House rooms) Changes required to property description as follows: On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional... Everything. Room was incredible, view was incredible. Clean room, clean hotel. Lovely staff!

Staff were friendly. Food was good and the view from our room was beautiful. Lovely log fires in bar and dining room.

Springbank Whisky Distillery je 700 metrů daleko. everything about the property was first class,particularly the people. nothing was a bother. the food in the restaurant for dinner was excellent ,as was breakfast,all freshly prepared.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... We had an amazing welcome from the owner, the bedroom in the second building was really nice and by the way very quiet and the home-made food SO delicious ! We would definitely go back on another trip to Scotland.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast menu offered a wide selection of options and was cooked to perfection with wonderful ingredients. The hotel has a list of their food suppliers on display and this food provenance is reflected in the wonderful freshly cooked dinners we enjoyed. The main courses were all large portions and very satisfying. The bar had an excellent selection of scottish gins all well worth trying. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The hosts Irene and Scott are very friendly and made us very welcome.

The Cuilfail je tradiční rodinný hostinec z 19. století, který se nachází kousek od břehu jezera Loch Melfort. Nabízí bar, restauraci, bezplatné parkování a Wi-Fi zdarma. Enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal was superb. Small cosy bar with good selection of beer and whisky. Nice quiet location but not far from Oban. scenery was exceptional in this area. Would highly recommend this hotel.
