Situated in Naranjo, within 40 km of Poas National Park and 22 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido, Rancho Amalia features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... This such a hidden gem! The farm is absolutely beautiful and came as a surprise. This was our first stop out of San Jose and I really recommend it. We visited Poas, Catarata del Toro and the Blue Falls before checking in for the night at a lovely cottage. The owner is just lovely and so friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant at the farm - delicious and fresh! We slept like babies in the super comfy bed and in the morning we enjoyed drinking coffee grown at the farm whilst watching hummingbirds feed. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting with the view of the valley. Absolutely magical.

The breakfast was great, also the room so clean. AC in excellent condition and the bathroom always clean a hot water. The property is so green and looks good.

Matatagpuan sa Fortuna at mapupuntahan ang La Fortuna Waterfall sa loob ng 5 kilometro, ang Le Petit Hotel ay nag-aalok ng express check-in at check-out, mga non-smoking room, shared lounge, libreng... It’s really beautiful and budget friendly place to stay in La Fortuna. The room was clean and equipped with the AC and TV. What we like the most was the pool with outdoor kitchen. 10 minutes of walking distance to the city center.

Boasting a garden, Posada Rural Oasis is situated in Caño Negro. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We spent 2 weeks at the Posada Oasis and truly enjoyed every second of it. Absolutely marvelous place, a true idyllic Oasis. Located in a beautiful huge garden, full of splendid flowers, fruit trees and tropical plants. Our hosts, Alba and Oscar, were simply wonderful. They kept showing us interesting animals and plants in the garden, treated to some delicious local fruit and even invited us to plant 2 trees :) We had some nice interesting talks with both of them, they were very helpful, considerate and caring at all times, from the moment we arrived till seeing us off to the bus. Thank you so much for everything!!!± Their daughter Carla, sons and grandsons helped around the property too and were always extremely accommodating and nice. There was a perfect balance of providing guests with privacy and being close enough at all times to assist if needed. A local shop is around 10 minutes walk. We cooked our meals in a lovely shared outdoor kitchen, very well equipped. Strong 2 fans in the room, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with big shower. Regular housekeeping. Amazing hammock on each porch, I could spend hours in there, just chilling and admiring the beautiful garden and numerous hummingbirds and butterflies. Lack of multiple lights = wonderful night sky, we saw Milky Way and ridiculous amount of stars.

Located in Rio Celeste, 44 km from Venado Caves, Posada Rural Río Celeste provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. They were very friendly. It was a very beautiful area with a lot of birds to see around. Very good location as well.

Situated in Alajuela City and within 32 km of Poas National Park, Duerme tranquilo has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The owner was so sweet. She was so helpful. My friend had to go to the airport super early and she helped out with an Uber, then she made me breakfast before I went to the airport.

Arenal Garden Lodge is located in El Castillo de La Fortuna within the Arenal Volcano National Park. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The location was amazing and out of this world. It overlooks the entire arenal lake and the volcano from a bird's eye pov. Also Sergio is pretty amazing and he will help you out with all the local stuff as well as things to do in Costa Rica. Housekeeping was on point and they were replacing towels and cleaning everyday.
