It depends on the vacancy on the previous day. It will be extra fee if possible. Please contact us if necessary. Q. Can storage luggage before check in or after check out? A. It depends on the vacancy and the time. Please contact us at least 1 day before. The storage place may have no rain shed depends on the booking situation. There's no staff there so please keep valuable items yourself. Please notice that we don't take responsibility if you lost or get any trouble on your luggage. You also can go Ohiradai station and ask the station staff to keep your luggage (not free, with extra fee). Q. Do you charge child rate? A. The child under 6 year old can stay for free(without bedding). 1 adult can travel with 1 child for free. If the child under 6 year old need bedding (bed or futon), we'll charge the fee as 1 adult. If the child without bedding need facilities like towel and toothbrush, we'll charge extra 2000JPY per one. Q. Can 2 guests use futon instead of 2 beds? A. We charge the fee according to the number of guest. We'll offer 2 beds for 2 guests. If you have 3 guests, we'll offer 2 beds + 1 futon. (Our BNB can stay max 4 guests. Thus we can offer max 2 futons) If you are 2 guests or less but still want to use futon, than we'll charge extra cleaning fee. Q. How to get the key? A. We'll send the passcode information 1 day (in the late evening) before your arrival. Q. Does the hot spring for private use? Do we need to share with others? A. We'll only accept 1 group per day so you won't share with others. Q. How to access to the BNB from the nearest station? A. It's around 3 mins from Ohiradai station by walk. There are 2 route and you can check details from the guidebook URL which will be sent after you finish booking.

Yamaguchi House Annex is located just 2 minutes walk away from the nearest station, "Ohiradai "(Hakone Tozan Railway) and the bus stop " Ohiradai station". Our next door is the Rinsenji-temple which belongs to SOTO school, one of the Zen sect. The Rinsen-ji temple has their small cemetery in Japanese tradition, and you will see the cemetery on the way to our house. If you are not comfortable with that, we can offer another access. --------- We have one bedroom in Japanese modern style collaborated with Scandinavian design , one tatami room with Horigotatu style table, a cozy study room with an antique desk and a chair, a living dining room with comfortable sitting area and a small book collection, a kitchen and one shower toilet and a Japanese style bathroom with Kodai Hinoki Buro(the bath tub made from Japanese cypress, which are the best quality material for bathing). Built in 1940s but fully renovated in Modern style, it belongs to the Main house (Currently operated as Spa at Yamaguchi House). The owner, Yamaguchi family was the founder of Fujiya Hotel, the oldest western style hotel in Japan located in Miyanoshita Hakone. Q. Is there any parking available? A. We don't offer free parking. There's a parking nearby and you can check the details from the guidebook. We'll suggest you to book the parking first before arrival. OHIRADAI is a cozy and quiet town, which has a natural hot springs. It is also famous for a spring water since a very long time ago. So you can walk around the town and visit spring waters such as "HIME NO MIZU" (which means "Water of Princess"). Also,we recommend our local Tofu(you can buy at TUJIKUNI shop) or Yuba(You can buy at HAKONE KAKUYAMA）which made from soy beans and local spring water. It takes 2 min walk to General store MARUKIYA, Liquor store HOSOKAWA. Also, it takes 2 min walk to Ramen shop OHIRATEI, and Izakaya TECCHAN. We are also very convenient location for popular tourist spots in Hakone The Hakone open- Museum : 20min by Hakone Tozan Railway Hakone Venetian Glass Museum　(SENGOKUHARA）: 15min by bus ASHINOKO lake : 20 min by bus to Motohakone-ko, a departure point for Hakone Sightseeing Cruise. 【Access】 ・Ohiradai station (Hakone Tozan Railway) : just 2 minutes on foot ・Ohiradai station bus stop : just 2 minutes on foot ※We prepare electric BBQ grill.
