The property is around 1.4 km from St. Joseph Cathedral, 1.9 km from Quan Thanh Temple and 1.6 km from Trang Tien Plaza. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic in providing information (for example, finding the cheapest express laundry service when I needed my laundry done before the hostel could finish my load). There's a free breakfast every morning in a buffet style, and for the price (free), the quality and quantity of the food is absolutely incredible. All of the buffet options were at least vegetarian/vegan; there were no meat options. My room wasn't humid or stuffy, the beds were comfortable and quite soft, blankets were thick enough for the colder nights, and my room had a roof fan. And if you ask the receptionist, staff can change the sheets on your bed every night. I didn't ask for extra cleaning, so I don't know if the service is free, but I thought it was nice for the hostel to offer optional daily sheet changes. For about $5 US a night, I could not ask for better value.

Hang Da Market, 290 metres away and Dong Xuan Market, 650 metres away, are truly places to shop like locals and enjoy unique activities. Very responsive and accommodating hosts. Highly recommended for solo travellers. Mai had organized amazing trips for halong bay, ninh binh and also a trip to sapa. Coming back real soon.

I liked how quiet the room can be in spite of being located in central old quarter. The bed and mattress were good and bunk bed didn´t make any strange noise. The staff was always helpful and kind. Aside they helped me to book my one day tour to Ha Long Bay, which is recommended for those who want to visit this destination.
