Very clean, well kept, modern and fresh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with anything you needed. All the facilities were really well looked after and made it an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay. The beds were exactly as seen in the photos online with your own TV and lockable cupboard. Very spacious. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Taiwan.

Light Hostel is located only a 10-minute walk from Chiayi Railway Station. It provides a convenient transportation, having two bus stations close to Hostel, and a 24-hour market nearby. This is a wonderful hostel! The dorm rooms have privacy curtains, a shared bathroom inside the room, comfortable beds, and very large common areas in the basement and on the rooftop. They provide a nice kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, for sure!

Chiayi Petite Hostel is situated in Chiayi City, 1.8 km from Chialefu Night Market and 2.5 km from Chiayi Park. Very close to the train station and there is a Youbike station nearby, so you can easily explore Chiayi by bike. Their is no elevator in the hostel, so try to avoid bringing heavy and big luggage. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Situated within 700 metres of National Radio Museum, Carlos Backpacker in Minxiong features a shared lounge, as well as free WiFi. This hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. the beds were very comfortable and the comforter was soft. Overall great value for money.
