It felt like staying with family, they were watching out for me and helped me arrange all of the activities I wanted to try with trusted guides. I loved walking through the neighborhood to get there- it's worth the sweaty trek. You really get to see how the locals live. Kids running in the street to say "hi!" to you. I felt safe walking alone, even at night.

Objekat Hostel Clandestino Maderas, koji ima vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i besplatan WiFi, smešten je u gradu El Plantel, na 6 min. We had the best two weeks here, it's perfect for long stays and really switching off. You are in nature, in great company, surrounded by cute dogs. It was bliss!

We loved the staff! Nuvia and Jenifer were wonderful and helpful with organizing motos and transportation and also gave great advice for activities. The breakfast and drinks were great as well and such a beautiful landscape with all the plants and flowers. We loved staying in our own private bungalow too. There was a net for bugs and a fan to keep cool. And they do laundry as well for a great price. It’s also nice to be close to the town of Balgue for eating.

Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

Hush is an adult-only hotel. It features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in San Juan del Sur. this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The views here are unbelievable, the staff are so friendly, the pool at sunset is beautiful, the private rooms are big, the coworking areas are great, I met some amazing people here, and you're super close to Playa Maderas. I had a car so it made the trek up the hill a lot easier. If you don't have transport, it will be a lot more difficult to get around, although there is a regular shuttle.

Objekat Hostel Julieta, koji ima terasu, smešten je u gradu Rivas, a udaljen je 33 km od znamenitosti Christ of the Mercy Nikaragva. Julieta was honestly the sweetest hostel owner I have ever met! She was kind and helpful, and very caring about my stay! She even offered to have my girlfriend and I married by her mom haha Honestly she made my trip to Rivas so much better than it could have been! Also... Little Nico is the best boy ever and I would go back for him any day :)
