We were impressed that the gentleman took us to the airport around 1:40am as promised very prompt.

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise as I wasn’t expecting it and very generous I might add. I loved the garden with the fountain in the back and lying in the hammock was so relaxing I didn’t want to leave.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Rio Celeste Backpackers is situated in Bijagua, 42 km from Liberia. The hosts were so kind and helpful! We really loved our stay here. We just stayed one night but we felt like home. Thank you again for all your advices and recommendations!

Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

It was my first hostel in Costa Rica and I hope to find more places like this on my trip! Very nice reception, very nice common areas, lots of bathrooms and showers to use (which are new). When I arrived they explained me a map of the city and helped me to organize my activities to make the best use of my time. My favorites were the yoga area and the hostel pet!
