We started our Sri Lanka trip by coming here and it was the perfect start for us. The hotel owners gave a very warm and caring welcome. They were helpful with everything including travel planning, transportation and information, even after leaving the hotel. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the temples. The rooms were immaculate and fragrant. Everything we needed was put in the room. It was also very peaceful with a backyard view and bird sounds. In the morning they prepared a very nice local breakfast. In the evening, we had the chance to taste local dishes from their skillful hands. We did not stay in such a beautiful place in the rest of our trip. If we come to Sri Lanka again, it is clear where we will stay 😊

We recommend staying in this cute little Hotel. It s clean, with comfy beds, a rain shower, and a nice little balcony with a view of the garden. We spotted black-faced monkeys, a mongoose, and those big squirrels. The family is so welcoming, they offer to cook dinner (it was delicious every single time) and the included breakfast is delicious too (fruit, coffee tea toasts, and two Sri Lanka specialties that change every morning). They helped us plan our trip and are truly wonderful people. We extended our stay and loved it. Will come back :)

He really goes above and beyond to make sure you are, as he says, 100% happy - from complimentary tuktuk pickup in Dambulla to flower strewn beds upon arrival, to high quality no pressure recommendations for everything, to providing scooter rental, to fresh home grown juice just when you need it, he is an absolutely first rate host. Don't hesitate - this is the spot!
