The large garden is exceptional and we appreciated being encouraged to use it freely. The cottage is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the welcome pack. Steffen and Karen were very accommodating when our flight time changed at the last minute, which was very much appreciated. They provided lots of information about the island, which helped us plan our week, spent exploring the island on foot and by bus. The cottage is conveniently placed for good walks, the bus stop and the local Graciosa is a lovely island to unwind and enjoy the countryside.

It has everything you need and more, for example, mountains of closet space and lots of coat hangers. But more importantly, it is the whole package that makes it such a lovely place to stay. The views over to Pico Mountain and the sea are beautiful. The gardens are gorgeous with so many different spots for relaxing. I loved the hammocks. Karen and Steffen are such hospitable hosts, helping out with so many things, such as making sure we used the bikes, providing some breakfast supplies when we arrived late on a Sunday, and even doing some washing for us. The lovely patio was perfect for evening meals. We did some lovely walks to, and around the caldera which is close by.This property so exceeded our expectations and we would come back in a heartbeat.

There is the very good natural swimming place in 5 minute walking.

There is everything you need. In the morning we got fresh bread rolls for breakfast. In addittion there were some biscuits and juice in the kitchen kindly left for us by the owners. There is a map where you can pin your country of origin and wine exchange shelf, these ideas were nice addittion to our stay. The owners were always ready to help and in contact with us. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the sea. Definitely a place to stay!

La Quinta dos Frutos se encuentra en Santa Cruz da Graciosa, en el archipiélago de las Azores. Estas casas de piedra tradicionales están rodeadas de jardines y árboles frutales. I loved the Quinta and it's fruit garden(and the sweet white cat). The house is simple but very well equipped and organized. The garden is stunning and relaxing. The neighborhood is so quiet, is the place to be during a relaxing summer holyday.
