L'emplacement était parfait avec une terrasse vue sur le lagon en supplément un fare potée au bord du lagon. La maison est équipée d'une climatisation avec le strict minimum en vaisselle. A part ça très beau produit.

Loved our experiences at Fare Vahine Oviri - from the awesome welcome from Johnny and family, the 4 hour tour of the island with Johnny (the pilgrimage to Taputapuatea being the absolute highlight), snorkeling in the lagoon and even a meal with the family. The Fare is comfortable and well provisioned for self-catering. This delightful place is one of the best kept secrets in the whole Pacific.

Incredible property, easy and private ocean access. Long private beach with large shallow pool in front for swimming. Snorkeling just beyond that. Kayaks provided for paddle to public atol (motu) nearby. Lots of Snorkeling around the motu as well. Owner met us at airport with rental car. Owner gave a book full of local tourism information, restaurant recommendations, etc. She spent an hour with us getting us settled in and oriented. The home is perfectly maintained and spotless clean. Fresh flowers everywhere. Well appointed kitchen, super bathroom with big walk-in shower. Very comfortable bed. A/C works great. This is a great find.

The location is great; you find yourself in your own botanical garden where you can see most of the plants you meet in Polynesia . The owners are most welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed going to the breakfast and have a chat with them. The view is as in the pictures , the bungalow and the kitchen attached have everything you need . We had a rent car and could explore the Island and return in the evenings to the accommodation and have dinner and drinks on our terrace . We would definitely come back!

Sophie (Sof) and Patrice’s (Pat) aka Sofpat fare was more than we could have hoped for. It looked in real life just the same as the pictures in their advert. It was clean, well equiped with everything we required. The fare was private, it was easy to access. The location to town was perfect. To be fortunate enough to have access to a great pool really worked for us and to have our own car to use the whole time we were there was the icing on the cake. As much as everything I have written was superb I really would like to write also that over and above how the fare was and equiped it was the engagement, the hosting, the caring from Sophie, Patrice, Agnes, Mahealani, and Hinenui that my wife and I will most remember. Right from our arrival at the airport and to be greeted by Mahealani and Hinenui these two strong and beautiful Mao’hi women who picked us up, then to meet the matriarch of their family Mama Agnes who brought us a freshly prepared breakfast each morning that was more than my wife and I could eat. We were lucky to meet Sophie and Patrice the day before we left Raiatea and although our time with them was brief, both were the utmost of hosts to us. My wife and I have already decided to return in June 2026 (at the latest) and we’ll only be staying with Sophie, Patrice and their extended family. We’ll start french language lessons as soon as we arrive back to Aotearoa (New Zealand).
