Lovely spacious ground floor apartment with sea views, patio, outdoor shower. 5 mins walk from the best sandy beaches on Ios (and the nicest beaches I've been to in Europe). Maria and her family were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and informative. We spent two very enjoyable weeks here and did a mixture of self catering and eating out at the three tavernas in Magganari (all good). As the nearest shop is a 40 min drive away (in Chora) you need to take drinking water and supplies with you. Maria can organise a supermarket delivery during your stay. We hired a car at the beginning and end of our stay - to get us to and from Magganari. You don't really need a car when you're there. This is an amazing remote beach destination and a great place to stay. And, by the way, the photos don't do the apartment justice, it's really nice.

Magganari view village has redefined the meaning of ‘exceptional’ for us. It is the benchmark we will compare everything against in the future. Magganari Bay is stunning and the property has uninterrupted views of the entire bay. The apartment was immaculate and tastefully finished with significant attention to detail (hand painted tiles and hand carved basins - to mention a few - from the family business). It also had everything you could need including stove, oven, full size fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Both bath and beach towels were provided and the apartment was serviced daily at a time suitable for you. Comfy bed and pillows too. It was only a very short (250m) walk to the beach with crystal clear waters and three tavernas (AntonIos in particular was fantastic with delicious food and friendly welcoming service). The pool was stunning with just the perfect amount of sun lounges. Again, the views, wow. Though the best part of Magganari View Village was the owner, Teny. Teny was wonderful and was always on hand if you needed anything and would bring you a beer, coffee or juice whilst we were soaking up the sun, lounging at the pool. She was always ready to offer advice and stories about the island. Absolutely exceptional experience - cannot recommend highly enough and we’re already planning our next visit to Manganari View. Thank you so much Teny!!

The house is well-equipped, you will find all the facilities you need. Wifi is surprizingly good. The interior is nicely designed, clean and well-mainteined. Should you prefer spending a few days in a charming, uninterrupted environment, do not miss this place. Warm welcome both from the owners on arrival and by the gorgeous sunrise every morning. Great restaurant and a nice beach (Psathi) in walking distance. Coming to Ios, we would chose the Anthoula's House again without any further thinking.

First of all - this exceeded our expectations and some. The photography of the place gives qn appearance of a small villa. When we arrived, we were blown away by the size. Photos are deceiving inna good way! Staff were amazing, the villa manager picked us up and dropped us off. Ran us through the villa and if we needed anything how to contact them. The villa is partially isolated giving you the privacy away from somewhat bust far out beach strip in Ios. It's a 10minute walk from the beach and restaurants but if you feel like staying in, having a dip in the pool, tanning or putting something on the TV and relaxing this place has it all. Already looking into booking this again for 2024 - would reccomend this villa whether your a party animal or on your honeymoon looking for some privacy like myself. 11/10

Interesting. Beautiful surroundings ,that is the stony relief of the island, a beautiful combination of the beige yellow gray of the earth with a wonderful blue of the sky. One could see as well a little part of the deep blue of the sea.
