Carlos and his wife were the best hosts: from helping with check in, providing recommendations on trekkings, making sure everything was okay (rooms, breakfast). We truly felt welcomed by them. Everything was super clean and the view to Pico was amazing! Strongly recommend this place!

Tropical Fruit Garden is a detached holiday home, located in a quiet spot in the southern part of São Jorge Island, in Azores. The fresh fruit and greens! The passionate owners/gardeners. Having a washing machine.

Caldeira Guesthouse is situated in Calheta, 100 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, in the Azorean São Jorge Island. Incredible! The best place of my whole trip in the Azores David manage to make a super place to share and chill. Everybody is very friendly. I ll recommend to eat there both lunch and dinner (worth the money) - The bed are comfortable - Everybody I met there is respectful and interesting to talk to -The view is just awesome - 20min walk to the surf spot (free soft surfboard and nice hard board to rent)

Casa Do Antonio is just 100 metres from Velas Port, offering spacious rooms with cable TV and free tea and coffee for guests. Rooms boast views across Pico Island, the sea or the port. Breakfast, cleanliness and staff

The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

AzoresDream is set in Velas in the São Jorge Island Region, 41 km from Horta. The rooms come with a TV with satellite channels. AzoresDream features free WiFi . Everything. The manager was friendly and approachable. The bedrooms were comfortable, the shared spaces were more than adequate (having many bathrooms is a big plus).. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to supermarket, swimming, and several restaurants.

Quinta Do Canavial is located in São Jorge Island and features sweeping views over the green areas of the island and of the Atlantic Ocean. The unit includes an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant.... Amazing view of the ocean and cliffs. Tables scattered throughout the property for a secluded breakfast surrounded by cool plants a flowers. Staff was soooo awesome. They heard we were leaving early and would miss breakfast and they packed us lunch baggies to eat in the road. Amazing place I hope to come back

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The large sliding glass doors allowed for exceptional views looking over Velas and the surrounding mountains from every room. Breakfast was the typical buffet style. All in all This a great place to stay in São Jorge.

The room was a short walk to anything in town. There’s also cafe with one of the better menu offerings in town right next to the hotel. My favourite amenity was the room’s large balcony with a great view of Pico. The staff is friendly and helpful. I asked lots of questions.
