Cantinho do Piano is situated in Velas. The property has sea and garden views. The guest house features family rooms. Perfect room, kitchen, very clean and comfortable and cozy! A lot of help from the owners, they helped with what we needed! Very close to the fairy, also to the swimming area and restaurants.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. We really liked the location as well as the kitchen. Loved that the kitchen was well equipped.

Tropical Fruit Garden is a detached holiday home, located in a quiet spot in the southern part of São Jorge Island, in Azores. the house was very comfortable and very clean. Don’t forget to get a tour of the magnificent gardens!

Caldeira Guesthouse is situated in Calheta, 100 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, in the Azorean São Jorge Island. Caldeira surf camp is located in the most idyllic place on Sao Jorge and feels like a home away from home. the view from the terrace was just amazing, and I enjoyed many meals shared with other guests there. You can walk in either direction from the house and enjoy some of the island’s best hikes, including a spectacular waterfall with plunge pool. There are surfboards you can use too, be sure to ask the guys where to go and tips for surfing here. A highlight for me as a solo traveller was spending time with the other guests and relaxing at the property. There’s a chef and you can choose to have all your meals prepared for you (additional charge) I would definitely recommend choosing this option as it’s very good value and it’s a great way to meet other people from all over the world. Plus, it’s a long walk down to carry all your stuff including food. I 100% hope to return to this magical place one day. Thank you David, Ben and the team for looking after me so well!

Casa Do Antonio is just 100 metres from Velas Port, offering spacious rooms with cable TV and free tea and coffee for guests. Rooms boast views across Pico Island, the sea or the port. Majoituspaikka oli oikein viihtyisästi sisustettu ja huoneet olivat hyvän kokoiset. Henkilökunnan kanssa asiat sujuivat mutkattomasti. Sijainti lähellä lauttarantaa sopi meille, koska jatkoimme matkaamme lautalla Faialille.

Set in Velas, Casa dos Rui´s offers accommodation with seating area. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

AzoresDream is set in Velas in the São Jorge Island Region, 41 km from Horta. The rooms come with a TV with satellite channels. AzoresDream features free WiFi . Wow, this place far exceeded what I was expecting for the price. Firstly, it is immaculately clean. My room was very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. It is located right in the heart of town, but it isn't noisy. I'll definitely return.

Quinta Do Canavial is located in São Jorge Island and features sweeping views over the green areas of the island and of the Atlantic Ocean. The unit includes an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant.... Amazing view of the ocean and cliffs. Tables scattered throughout the property for a secluded breakfast surrounded by cool plants a flowers. Staff was soooo awesome. They heard we were leaving early and would miss breakfast and they packed us lunch baggies to eat in the road. Amazing place I hope to come back

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.

Residência Livramento is offering accommodation in Velas. Among the facilities at this property are a housekeeping service and private check-in and check-out, along with free WiFi throughout the... The room was a short walk to anything in town. There’s also cafe with one of the better menu offerings in town right next to the hotel. My favourite amenity was the room’s large balcony with a great view of Pico. The staff is friendly and helpful. I asked lots of questions.
