The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Leigh was very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The room had a Victorian feel - lots of linen and lace We really enjoyed the outdoors experience of staying here... kitchen/dining outside, close to a stream etc. Self serve breakfast, cereal, croissants and fruit. Plenty of parking. Close to town and the New World Supermarket for groceries.

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

El Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts ofrece 2 tipos de alojamiento diferentes entre Richmond y Mapua, en la carretera que conduce al parque nacional Abel Tasman. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Glamping Cabins dispone de alojamiento en Motueka. Really cosy room and comfy bed. As the name describes it (glamping), the room is very small but the bed is comfy and the linen was really nice. The description lists the accommodation as a shared bathroom but I had it all to myself (along with kitchenette and laundry) which was certainly nice for this solo traveller! I later learnt that for the moment, the individuals or group who have booked have exclusive use of the bathroom which you’re not sharing it with strangers (there are two other glamping cabins). Everything was immaculately clean. The accommodation is on the edge of town but I liked the location as it’s closer to the coast and a swimming spot. Communication with the owner was fab, she even suggested a few dinner spots which was thoughtful.

Everything including Jacqui who is a great personable host!!! The room is not a box, more like an octagon shape, very well decorated, very comfortable, very well appointed with plenty of windows for natural light. It feels like home, trust me. The property is also very well landscaped, peaceful and private. Very close to town, a few minutes away by foot or vehicle.
