Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. What an absolutely amazing place! Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Situated in Motueka in the Tasman region with Motueka Saltwater Baths nearby, Cozy Glamping Cabins features accommodation with free private parking. Really cosy room and comfy bed. As the name describes it (glamping), the room is very small but the bed is comfy and the linen was really nice. The description lists the accommodation as a shared bathroom but I had it all to myself (along with kitchenette and laundry) which was certainly nice for this solo traveller! I later learnt that for the moment, the individuals or group who have booked have exclusive use of the bathroom which you’re not sharing it with strangers (there are two other glamping cabins). Everything was immaculately clean. The accommodation is on the edge of town but I liked the location as it’s closer to the coast and a swimming spot. Communication with the owner was fab, she even suggested a few dinner spots which was thoughtful.

Located in Appleby and only 15 km from Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson, Berryfields 64 provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very modern, clean and comfortable.

Situated in Motueka, The Pool House - King Deluxe Studio features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. This guest house has a garden. Everything including Jacqui who is a great personable host!!! The room is not a box, more like an octagon shape, very well decorated, very comfortable, very well appointed with plenty of windows for natural light. It feels like home, trust me. The property is also very well landscaped, peaceful and private. Very close to town, a few minutes away by foot or vehicle.
