I loved everything. We had an eleven-day scooter trip across the island, and Kirinda was our last stay before going home to Galle. The property is very well maintained; it looks new, minimalistic, and stylish. Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

A wonderful host set the tone for our great stay here. On checking in we were given a welcoming Coconut which was so refreshing after our trip from Ella. The room was clean and spacious with excellent air con. We enjoyed all meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast -during our brief stay. They arranged an excellent Yala National Park tour for us at an extremely competitive price. Our driver Alim was fantastic and made every effort to ensure that we got the best value for our day. Unlike some drivers in the park, he did not rush but made sure we experienced the best day possible. As so many other have commented the host took us to the bus station and made sure we got the correct bus for our forward journey to Matara. It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! It is not possible to describe how special this place is and we highly recommend everyone to come here and experience it yourself. Heaven in Satinwoods is our favorite place in Sri Lanka and also the food here is just the best that you can get. So if you come to this place, you should definitely try the rice and curry. From the first second we arrived at this place, we felt like staying in paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh juice, some wet towels to refresh our faces and a flower necklace. The rooms are very spacious, there is an A/C in every apartment and it is very clean. Also you have drinking water in the room, so you don’t need to buy water. You can just bring empty water bottles and reuse them, which is really great. Also this place has a wonderful garden with many beautiful trees, plants and flowers and you can watch many different animals like giant squirrels and really beautiful birds! He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)
