J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. The private onsen's were really nice and so was the traditional japanese room - pretty, clean and warm, which was great after hiking. The staff was friendly and helpful, they made sure, that we were aware that the food options in village were limited, so we could make an informed decision about ordering dinner from them.

Objekat AJITO Hostel & CafeBar, koji je smešten u gradu Šingu, na 6 min. The owner borrow me their bike and let me check in earlier as well. Even it small. It's super clean and modern. Had a good night sleep here to recharge before heading towards komodo kodo. Kamikura shrine is a must go and the famous ice shave that alot of actor and actress go here. Kid you not.

Lovely little guesthouse with three rooms. Very cosy shared living area. You sleep on tatamis (comfortable!) and bathroom facilities are shared. We arrived by car and there was parking. Our host gave us some excellent recommendations around town. It’s in a residential neighbourhood about a 10 minute walk down to the beach and the tourist area, which is really nice (as the centre of town feels a bit touristy)

Host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He searched and found information for us and even offered to help us make reservations for activities. We stayed here during the winter, but the place was warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed plus free condiments. We would love to stay here again!

The place was very convienently located close to family mart and many attractions. It also had its own restaurant and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming!

Delicious dinner with the best cheese and wines, delicious breakfast, the nice conversations and stories about Japan, views from the mountain, pick-up and drop-off services and ability to do laundry. They even helped us with our luggage transfer to the accommodation for the next day

Set in Tanabe, 23 km from Shirahama Hot Spring, Kumano Kodo Nagano Guesthouse features a garden and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The accommodation offers a concierge service for guests. I think that thus stay was everything we needed to Beginn the kumano kodo: we could feel the peace of the mountains, sleeps like babies and be the guests of our magnificent host, Simon, who answered every question we had and made our stay one of the most special stays we could have.
