I have never stayed in a guest house with such a welcoming and engaging host. I really felt like the owner and host cared about their guests a lot and made their stay very pleasant. I really enjoyed engaging with the other guests in this guesthouse, which enables people to get to know each other during breakfast, at the bar or in the common room. The facilities were nicely designed and decorated. Despite the distance to the centre of Sapporo, I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to everyone. Additionally, the shorter distance to Teine Olympia and Highland Ski Resort and Otaru is very convenient. This guesthouse is perfectly located in between Sapporo Downtown and Otaru, which both are worth a visit.

Very friendly owners with a very pretty hotel. Service was good and they went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. Highly recommended

Set 6.5 km from Sapporo Station, 10 km from Shin-Sapporo Station and 24 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center, Guesthouse OYADO SAPPORO offers accommodation situated in Sapporo. I felt welcomed in this place and all thanks to great Yoshie! The whole building is not that big but it is cozy. It is clean, comfortable beds and relatively close to central part of the city. I will come back again.

It is a place that provides a wonderful experience. The host is polite and patient. Peaceful and I promise that if I have the opportunity I will come back and stay here again.

Shabby House is a 60-year old traditional Japanese home that is situated in Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo Station is a 3-minute walk away from the property. Mr. Kudo is super attentive, and we had some great conversations, plus he gave me some recommendations for sight-seeing to squeeze a bit more out of my last day. The room is very nice for the price, everything you need and no more, understanding that you're gonna be sharing the space with other travelers (plus hanging out over breakfast is very nice). Well-connected thanks to the streetcar, which makes it only 20 minutes to the city center. I genuinely only had positive experiences with this guest house, and the "negative points" are just nitpicks.

Surrounded by serene pasture and vegetable fields, Pension Megumiyuki is situated just a 4-minute drive from Biei Station. The accommodation, staff and location were all incredible! Super cozy rooms with a great common area. It was nestled in trees and fields full of flowers, and the owner was truly sweet. We really appreciated where it was situated - but we did have a car, and I know that made it much easier to travel between Furano and Biei which were both lovely! Extremely pleasant and would absolutely come back!
