Warm and sweet hosts, we felt so welcomed and enjoyed chatting with them. The first floor tatami room was very comfy and cozy. I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

This was the best place we stayed in our entire trip to Japan! Tama is a wonderful host and will advise on what to do around Hiraka and Hirosaki, the place is clean and cozy and the cats are adorable (especially Fox!). Also, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend Misato Memorial Hall if you're travelling and want to know more about Japan and the Japanese culture. Thank you Tama for the excellent stay!

Staff very friendly. For women I would definitely suggest staying at the women's section. It was very cozy and clean. Also had a nice table for getting ready with face cleansing products etc. Also 4 toilets for women, so no need to wait for others. Also near the Hirosaki Park, on a walking distance.
