The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep. We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

From our champagne greeting, to booking us at a lovely local restaurant for dinner on a moment's notice, to the vast and delicious made-to-order breakfast, our hosts Julie and Hugh were a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The 5-star rated Newark Lodge Guest House offers high-quality bed and breakfast less than 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Newark. Everything! Loved the decor - many antiques and gallery style art everywhere. The room was uber comfortable too and quiet. The owners were so accommodating - even offered to do our laundry and to make us dinner! The place is overall too drawer!

In the heart of the historic village of Laxton, The Dovecote Inn is a charming traditional inn offering fine food and rooms that are spacious and full of character. Wi-fi is free. This place was amazing, Sherwood Suite was fabulous. Dinner was excellent and the attention to detail, in both the hotel and our room was fantastic. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Great value for money and would highly recommend the Dovecote Inn.

This purpose-built country bed and breakfast is located in the beautiful rural Nottinghamshire countryside. Awarded a 3-star rating, there are traditional, comfortable rooms and free Wi-Fi access. Our host made us feel very at home .We were able to rest well .The bed and room were very spacious .A Cottage farm rest with great walks through nature .No traffic or noise .You could hear the birds and smell the fresh air .You can drive to Newark or Sherwood forest .Or , stay at Willow tree . Great breakfast. We Highly recomended Willow tree .

Very welcoming and friendly hosts, who couldn't do enough for you. The place was very well fitted out to a high standard. They had thought of everything, including providing a wide range of hot drinks for you to make with the facilities provided, which included a Nespresso machine. The decor, carpets and curtains looked brand new and were lovely. The bathroom was perfect and there were toiletries provided. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and included plenty of fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good.
