Ty Castell Guest House is situated in Caerphilly, 13 km from University of South Wales - Cardiff Campus, 13 km from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, as well as 14 km from Cardiff Castle. Our stay here was a 30 minute alternate to the higher prices in Cardiff. We were a 10 minute walk to the train station. Steve was very accommodating with parking and early check in. We arrived early and took in The Little Cheese Festival in Caerphilly. We enjoyed a great breakfast on the first morning.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, The Lychgate is situated in Caldicot. Parking is not guaranteed There is a free public car park 200 yards across the road in Caldicot Castle.. The room was spacious. The bed comfy. The shower powerful. The location was ideal for what we wanted. Janice gave us little extras and treats which made it special. The food was lovely with good choices.

Set in a 17th-century former farmhouse just metres from the banks of the River Wye, Parva Guesthouse is less than a mile from historic Tintern Abbey. Marta was an exceptional host. She was so friendly from arrival to our departure. She walked us to our room and pointed out some notable feature including homemade biscuits at the coffee bar. Marta welcomed us for pre-dinner cocktails and helped us choose outdoor seating. The meal was delicious, and the service was top notch. I was sad not to be staying longer! The room was very comfortable and I loved the farmhouse character of the property.

Margaret the host is lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room and facilities were great and absolutely spotless. Great decor and well thought out. Will definitely stay again.

Featuring a hot tub, The Stables is located in Monmouth. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 48 km from Kingsholm Stadium. The quiet the view from the bedroom window the jacuzzi under the moonlit sky having no contact with the owner very private great bathroom comfortable bed. We found it a bit of a special place however we were really lucky with the waether.

Lovely managers and lovely place to stay at. It was really interesting to hear a bit about the place, and about the family business. We got a lovely room, with a well equipped with kitchenette. The bathroom was ensuite and very large. Everything was extremely clean.
