The room was really comfortable and super clean! The decor was lovely and the whole place had a good feel. The owners were very friendly! The breakfast was delicious. You get to choose the items you want and the jam, yogurt, and tarts we're homemade :) There's a small shared fridge with waters in the shared living room space .

Breakfast was cooked fresh for the four of us and it was excellent. It was delicious, and there was so much of it. We learned the story of perte de pain "Lost Bread" which we call French toast in the US. We had a champagne tasting the evening of our stay which was informative and delightful. Our hostess shared the story of their family champagnes which was such a treat.

A cozy hotel (only 4 rooms!) in a renovated, beautiful old building with helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Located in Ay, it is a great base for discovering Champagne houses in the region. We were there off-season, so the town was pretty quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and the large communal table for all the guests enabled us to get to know the other Champagne enthusiast travelers who were also staying there. We stayed here for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. We also enjoyed the tasting of a selection of the Collery Champagnes in the next door tasting room, tempting us to buy a few bottles to take back. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back.

We had a really relaxing stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. There was everything we could possibly have needed in our rooms. They had thought of everything! The evening meal was delicious, and we loved the fact that we ate together with the other guests. We had a comfortable night, and the breakfast in the morning with baguette, croissants, homemade jams and even homemade yogurt was superb.

Lovely barn conversion, family run and spotless clean and all for a bargain price! Breakfast time took me back to my childhood in Germany, fresh bread, selection of cheese, jams and fruit.

Very good breakfast and we had aditional omelette instead of gluten free bread for my wife. It is close to the canal where you can have nice walks along the canal.

Wonderful hosts, and the property was amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, with fresh breads, Yorkshire tea (!) and homemade jams. The surrounding area is beautiful with enough to see and do.

Catherine, our hostess, was extremely helpful and informative. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Europe. The room was very spacious and the decorations in the entire property were eclectic and stylish. I would return to the Chateau!
